evolutionize me

a recommendation from my evolution professor....

video of the day:

this bird, the red capped manakin, pipra mentalis, part of the manakin family is doing a dance to attract a mate. this is called a mating dance. they display their bright patterns and colors, make noises with their wing tips, have awesome fly patterns and can even do the moonwalk! check out another great vid here featuring a researcher and her interpretations!

more eye candy:
o birds of paradise, you are so cool!

how do i evolve to do this??

human mating dance? this is among the great wonders of the world. i'm just in awe of the graceful yet sturdy practice of this art. Find out more about the Tin Can Cabaret. let me know what you think :)
